Our curriculum is aligned with the state learning standards for children ages 2 through age 5. We use play, investigation, exploration and hands on learning to help students meet those learning goals. That means your kiddo will rarely be sitting, and they'll almost never be given worksheets. Play based learning is powerful, appropriate and researched based.
Toddler (Age 2 as of August 31st) Begin a life long love of learning in our Toddler program. In our play-based program there are so many opportunities for our little ones to learn amongst their friends. Our facilitator Ashley paired with a CE parent brings exploratory activities that pair with our monthly theme that allow our kids to use their imagination, creativity, fine motor skills and more.
Preschool (Age 3 as of August 31st) Through a blend of play-based learning, hands-on centers, and engaging science and art projects, our preschoolers embark on a journey of discovery that sparks curiosity and cultivates a love for learning. From exploring nature in our outdoor play space to diving into imaginative play, every moment is an opportunity for growth and exploration. We cherish diversity and celebrate each child's unique strengths and interests. Our curriculum embraces cultural richness, promotes inclusivity, and encourages open-mindedness. Nurturing the development of empathy and respect from a young age.
Pre-Kindergarten (Age 4 as of August 31st) At Mead Co-op we understand the significance of Pre-K as an important stepping stone towards future education whether that be in public school, other co-ops or homeschooling. Our Pre-K is crafted to guide young minds through a journey that fosters growth, confidence, and a seamless transition into kindergarten. Our Pre-K classroom is a place where curiosity is celebrated, creativity thrives, and friendships flourish. Our facilitator Julie provides a dynamic and engaging environment where your child's potential takes center stage. Through interactive activities, hands-on projects, and collaborative learning experiences. As we prepare your child for kindergarten, we maintain a deep commitment to cultivating a sense of belonging and empathy.
